Ministries

Missions

Missions are the heartbeat of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. We believe that Jesus Christ has called His church to share the hope of the Gospel with those around us and to make disciples both near and far. Because of this, we are committed to reaching our families, our community, our nation, and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Through dedicated ministry teams and outreach opportunities, we seek to meet people where they are and demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways. These ministries include caring for shut-ins, connecting with our community through the farmer's market, engaging athletes and families through sports ministry, sharing the Gospel through digital media, and serving others through yard work and home repair projects. No matter the avenue of ministry, our desire is the same: to glorify God by faithfully sharing the Gospel and serving others in the name of Christ.

Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy

Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy is Walton County's newest and only accredited Christian-based K–9 educational opportunity. At P.R.C.A., we believe that education is about far more than academics—it is about helping students grow in wisdom, character, and their relationship with Christ. Everything we do is rooted in a desire to honor God and advance His Kingdom, recognizing Christ's lordship over every area of life. We are committed to building meaningful relationships with each child, encouraging them to discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents. By viewing each student as a whole person, we seek to challenge and support them academically, spiritually, and personally, equipping them to reach their full potential and faithfully serve God in the unique calling He has placed on their lives.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights of the year at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. We believe that investing in children and families is an important part of sharing the hope of the Gospel and helping the next generation grow in their faith. Through Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, and activities, we strive to provide a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment where every child is welcomed and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. We invite children and families to join us July 13–17 from 5:30–8:30 p.m. as we come together for an exciting week of learning about God's love and the hope found in Christ.
